Here's a vintage commercial for Casual Corner with locations in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Features "Sizzle Shorts" which were obviously some version of "hot pants". I was only 10 years old when "hot pants" were "hot"....I really appreciated the fad.....at my height at that age, I ended up with an eyeful of legs!

This clips is from the Milt Grant Show which aired on WTTG, channel 5 in Washington D.C. Tops was the 1st restaurant chain in the area to carry Kentucky Fried Chicken. In the late 60's, all units in DC area became Gino's.
